As we end the Beam Perks program*, we want to make sure that you have the information you need to address any questions or concerns. Here are some key dates and answers to the most relevant questions about this transition.
Key Dates
Coverage Beginning Before April 2025:
Groups whose coverage begins before April 2025 will have access to Perks until the end of the program.
Coverage Beginning April 1, 2025 and Later:
Perks will be available only if your group was quoted before December 19, 2024.
May 2025:
The Perks program will officially conclude and warehouse operations will end.
Why is Beam ending the Perks program?
Participation in the Perks program has declined, with only 4% of eligible members¹ enrolling in 2024. As interest continues to wane and costs increase, we’ve made the decision to sunset Perks in May 2025. This allows us to reinvest in sustainable, innovative solutions that better meet the needs of your organization and employees
What happens to members who currently use Perks?
Members who have already received Perks items, like toothbrushes or purchases from the Beam Shop, can continue using them without disruption. However, no new Perks items will be available for purchase or redemption after May 2025
- Starting Tuesday, January 21, members will no longer accrue brush score points
- Members with unused points will receive a special offer to use their points before the Perks program ends.
Does this change my group’s coverage or benefits?
No. The end of the Perks program does not affect your dental, vision, or life insurance benefits. Your group can continue to enjoy Beam’s rich dental coverage, innovative technology, and streamlined processes.
Will Beam replace Perks with another program?
We are exploring new ways to provide meaningful benefits, but any future programs will focus on sustainability, innovation, and delivering value aligned with members' and groups’ needs.
